.
I see it repeatedly in my clients. And in a shockingly high percentage of entrepreneurs who are on the verge of success.
The moment they start getting some REAL momentum … they’ll find a distraction that keeps them from that oh-so-scary step of actually making some sales:
- OMG, I have to set up my shopping cart!
- My freebie sucks! I can’t do anything else until I revise it!
- I need to give my blog a makeover!

- Ms. / Mr. Marketing Guru just came out with a new course they say I will die if I don’t have it! And I can’t do anything until I see what they say …
And it hides the fact that your fastest path to cash is often the simplest.
And there’s one tool that virtually guarantees a windfall if you would only use it.
And you don’t need to take one more course or do one more darned thing before you do. The problem is … you’re scared witless to use it.
Its the phone.
Yep, right now there are scores of people you could call
- Those JV partners that just might promote you if you’d just reach out to them.
- Those folks at your networking group whose jaws dropped when you told them what you do.
- All those folks who came by your booth at the expo and dropped their card into your bowl.
Just one of those folks could add a few zeros to your bottom line. If you’d just understand there is NOTHING more important than getting back to them.
Not your shopping cart. Not your freebie. Not that
fab new course Ms. Guru says you just HAVE to have.
In fact … sometimes I believe the biggest difference between really successful entrepreneurs and the rest of us is: They KNOW the only thing standing between them and extra cash is the phone.
So how about if I give you a little push? That actually makes using the phone fun? Almost like a game?
Welcome to the “Your Phone is Your Friend” Fridge Tabs. Remember those flyers that the fix-it guy or the computer whiz stuck around your neighborhood? With the little tear-off tabs?
Well, I’ve got something just like that for you. Only instead of the fix-it guy’s phone number … you write down the names of the folks you need to call on the tabs. And when you’ve finally screwed up the courage to call them (or even a little bit before):
You tear off the tab. And make the call.
Stick them up on your fridge. Your work area. Any place you need a reminder that the most powerful tool in your money-making arsenal isn’t that new hundred dollar WordPress plug-in.
But something you’ve already paid for. Something you already know how to use.
So right-click this here link …
(you don’t even have to opt-in. Honest!)
You’ll get a cool PDF download that will have you up and running with your easy to use fridge tabs in minutes.
Print out as many sheets as you like. Cut them out. Paste them up. Write down the folks you need to call on the tabs. And when you’re ready to make the call … tear off the tab and do it.
Now that’s accountability!
I know it sounds crazy, but if I had a dime for every entrepreneur (some wickedly talented) who got right to the edge of a breakthrough. But instead of picking up the phone, added something else to their plate “they had to handle first …” — well, you get the picture..
So stop the delay. Stop fooling yourself.
Download the fridge tabs. And then … pick up the phone.
Yep, its scary as hell. But like a roller coaster, when its done, you’ll say” Wow that was fun. I can’t wait to do it again!”
And when you start doing it again … you’ll watch the money roll in.
How fun is that? Now if you like cool stuff like this … and want more … the best way to show me is to share this on Facebook. Just click the little share button on the left side of the page.

So you’ve taken away the excuse of shiny objects to be implemented first before we make those calls, Rob. 🙂 Thanks for the fridge tabs. I’ll be sharing on Facebook,Pinterest and Twitter.
Grrreat stuff, Rob! Thanks.
Is 'Mind Reading' on your Skillset List? 🙂
Hey Trevor … great to see you here! I’m not a mind reader, but glad this hit home for you!
Wow..brilliant..as always! You always know what we need (even when we don't want to see it:)!
Thank you Diana. Hopefully the “fun factor” makes it a bit easier to implement!
Rob, you crack me up! WHY is there always so much hit-me-between-the-eyes truth behind what you say?? I always start out laughing, but then as it gets closer to home, I'm more inclined to cry, then of course, do exactly as you say. You're good.
Thank you Martha. Not trying to make you cry. Just trying to make you more profitable.
Rob – your creativity kills me! And I'm a creative!!! 🙂
Between your countdown timer (I have used a similar technique in the past, but you have made it SO easy!) and a visual fun way to get to those phone calls – wow!! My "make more money" biz clients – whom hear me preach the same thing over and over again – are going to LOVE your new approach. But don't worry – I WILL make them opt-in to you to get to the goods 🙂
Thank you Rob!! – Mary Larsen
Wow, thank you Mary. I just find when you insert a little fun into the process, people forget that they were scared. And then the results have an open door!
Very clever, Rob! I think gamifying phone calls may be just the trick to get them done … those little tabs will haunt me until they're all gone!
Game away Marlys! Have fun. And make those calls!
Rob, you know how to hit your clients on the head with a
hammercool tool. Thanks! Thanks Susan! Hopefully its a gentle hammer … and fun!
