Once you charge a rate suddenly EVERYONE is your competition. And your prospect is in the driver seat because they can compare your rate with everyone else’s.
Not only have you forced yourself to compete on price. But you’re now a commodity.
The fastest way to give yourself a raise is to stop charging a “rate”. And charge on VALUE.
But there’s a misunderstanding around what value really is. There a false definition of value which won’t get you a raise. And a REAL definition that will.
The false ideas is that more value = more stuff. “If I can just offer my prospects a lot of stuff, they will pay what I want!”
The problem is, your prospects already have too much stuff.
They already have books they’ve never read, videos they’ve never watched, courses sitting untouched on their hard drive.
Or you might be thinking “Hey I’ll just give them another Blueprint or a Road Map.”
They don’t want one of those either.
Because what they really want in not just a map, but where the map takes them: An outcome.
And there are Four Value Factors that let you know whether you have a solution they’ll jump on. Or one they have to “think about”:
The problem they want solved.
The outcome they want instead.
The importance of that outcome.
The difficulty they’ve had achieving that outcome.
When you nail the first two … and score high on the last two … you have VALUE a lot of people will PAY FOR.
Because if I have a problem that’s a top priority …
That is creating pain and disruption every day it continues …
And I want to replace that problem with an outcome I desperately want …
That I’ve struggled years trying to create for myself …

And it won’t be based on a “rate” I can compare to someone else’s rate. It will be based on an outcome I yearn for that others haven’t been able to help me with.
That’s value!
