Back in 2010, I stumbled on a video.

And like all the great things you stumble on, you can’t exactly remember how you did.

But unlike many of the things I stumble on, 10 years later I still remember it.

Because it tells a GREAT story.

Great stories are not just for kids.
Not just for the movies.
Or Netflix.

Great stories can help your business take off, when you tell them in your messaging.

And make it a lot easier to move your ideal clients into your programs.

Great stories stick relentlessly in the minds of your followers long after so much of the stuff we put out there fades away.

The problem is, you’re so overexposed to instant internet gratification:

Snarky Twitter posts
Silly memes we’ve seen 3,000 times
And surfing cats

You may have forgotten what a great story looks like.

Here is one to remind you:

(If you’re really in a rush, move the playhead to 4:14.)

It unfolds slowly
But once it gets going, it’s hard to break away from.
It’s an incredible story.

During this time when so much feels like its going wrong, its great to be reminded of what can go right …

When you hang in there.
And put your faith, focus and energy into the thing you know will work out
If you can just stick with it long enough to see it through.

If you’ve had a rough 2020 …
This might give you the hopeful nudge you need moving into 2021.
